NO SHORTCUTS
ON COMPLIANCE.

Oversized freight failure modes are not "the load was late." They are "the load was impounded," "the bridge was struck," "the route was illegal." Every state, county, and city has rules. We follow them.

📋
PERMITS
State-by-state permit applications, dimension validation, lead-time management, and amendment handling when routes change.
🗺️
ROUTE SURVEYS
Bridge clearances, height restrictions, weight-restricted roads, construction detours. Validated routes — not Google Maps guesses.
🚓
ESCORTS & PILOT CARS
Front, rear, and high-pole escorts coordinated where required. Police escorts arranged for restricted urban routes.
RESTRICTED HOURS
Sunup-to-sundown rules, holiday restrictions, weekend movement bans, urban time windows — built into the schedule, not discovered at the gate.

RIGHT TRAILER.
RIGHT LOAD.

Mismatched equipment is the most common — and most expensive — oversized mistake. We match the trailer to the load, not the trailer that was easiest to find.

STEP DECK
STEP DECK / DROP DECK
Lower deck height accommodates loads up to 10' tall on standard trailers. Best for tall machinery, prefab structures, agricultural equipment.
// 48' / 53' · 48,000 lbs · 10' height capacity
LOWBOY
LOWBOY / RGN
Removable Gooseneck — drive-on / drive-off capable. The standard for self-propelled equipment, very tall loads, and heavy machinery transport.
// 40-53' · 80,000 lbs · 12' height capacity
DOUBLE DROP
DOUBLE DROP / STRETCH
Extended deck for long loads. Stretches up to 80'+. Ideal for boom sections, blades, beams, vessels, and other oversize-by-length cargo.
// Up to 80' · 45,000 lbs · 11'6" height capacity
HEAVY HAUL
MULTI-AXLE HEAVY HAUL
Hydraulic and modular trailers for super-heavy loads. Power units, transformers, large vessels, prefab structures.
// Configurable axles · 200,000+ lbs · Permit-required

FROM INTAKE
TO DELIVERY.

Every oversized load runs through the FenceLine Standard™ — adapted for permit complexity and regulatory oversight.

01 — INTAKE & SCOPING

Before any quote, we collect every dimension and constraint. Length, width, height, weight, axle distribution, loading method, unloading site access, and any prior permit history on the lane.

If the load has moved before, we want the previous permit numbers. If it hasn't, we treat it as a route survey from scratch.

1
Dimension captureL × W × H, weight, weight distribution, axle locations
2
Origin / destination accessLoading method, dock vs. crane, site approach, gate hours
3
Lane historyPrior permits, known restrictions, escort precedent
4
Permit-aware quoteRate range based on actual permit envelope, not a guess

02 — PERMITS & ROUTING

Each state crossed requires its own permit. Some require state-approved routes; others let the carrier propose one. We handle the application sequencing and the route validation in parallel.

Bridge formulas, county weight restrictions, low-clearance overpasses, construction zones — every variable is checked against the load envelope before the carrier rolls.

1
Multi-state permit applicationFiled in lead-time order; amendments handled inline
2
Route surveyBridge clearance, weight ratings, urban restrictions verified
3
Escort coordinationPilot cars, high-pole, police escorts where required
4
Movement windowDaylight-only, holiday-restricted, urban time-band rules

03 — CARRIER DISPATCH

We dispatch carriers who specialize in heavy haul — not generalists who happen to own a step deck. Equipment is matched to the load envelope; insurance and safety are validated for the specific load class.

You receive a written carrier confirmation with truck #, driver, escort details, and the agreed update cadence — before pickup.

2

3
Pre-pickup briefingPermit copies, route, escort plan, contacts shared with driver
4

04 — EXECUTION & CLOSEOUT

Daily check-ins minimum on multi-day moves. If the load is grounded by weather, daylight rules, or permit complications, you hear it from us with options — not silence.

On delivery: POD, photos, post-load recap. Every move teaches us something for the next one.

OVERSIZED
INTAKE.

Oversized rates depend on permit complexity. Submit dimensions and we'll come back with a firm rate plus route plan, typically 1–3 business days.
