Every HSI load moves through the same five statuses, whatever the carrier. An exception is not a step. It is a flag over the step you are on, with what happened and your options written next to it.

Pending
Booked and confirmed. The carrier is assigned, the written plan is issued, the truck has not yet arrived at origin.

Picked up
Freight is on the truck. Pickup time, piece count and the driver's details are on file.

In transit
Moving on the agreed cadence. Latest scan location and time update here as they come in from the carrier and the driver.
